AK BHA Offers Reward for Information on Poached Cow Moose in Homer

The Alaska chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the prosecution of the person or persons responsible for poaching a cow moose approximately 1 1/2 miles east of the intersection of E. Hill Rd. and Skyline drive in Homer. This likely took place in the early morning hours on may 31st, 2013. No meat was salvaged by the poacher. The cow moose had a calf, which was subsequently captured and taken to the Alaska zoo.
